The Platinum Procyon is a mid-range, steel nib fountain pen that sells for about $50.
This is one of the top Platinum fountain pens, but does not get much attention because it’s so close in price to the 3776 Century which upgrades to a 14K gold nib.
The Procyon has an aluminum body and cap that is sold in a number of excellent colors. These include Porcelain White, Citron Yellow, Turquoise Blue, Persimmon Orange, and Deep Sea. The colors really pop and are one of the big attractions to this pen.
These pens are sold in fine and medium steel nibs, but are not sold in extra fine. Like almost all Platinums, it’s a cartridge converter pen.
