The Stabilo Woody 3-in-1 is a wooden colored pencil, that is designed to have three functions: a crayon, a blendable watercolor paint, and a colored pencil. These are wide, wood pencils aimed at students and children with small hands, but a great product for anyone.
Stabilo calls the Woody it’s “multi-talent” pencil because it has so many applications. In addition to being able to be used as a colored pencil and wax crayon, it can write on glass and can be blended with water to paint.
The extra large lead in the Woody measures in a 10 mm wide, which means it’s basically never going to break. It also means you get a lot of color in each one — up to the same amount of colored lead material as 8 normal colored pencils! The downside of this is that you need a special sharpened that is wider then what you’d normally buy. Luckily Stabilo includes one with larger packs of the Woody, but not all of them include it.
The Woody is available in a number of different product offering and 18 different colors, including gold and silver.
