The Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Petit Prince is a new for 2020 fountain pen inspired by the novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The pen has a burgundy body with champagne gold trim. Previous models were sold with similar traits but in a blue body.
Notable special features on the Le Petit Prince models are that the cap’s top band has a quote engraved on it and the clip has a single lacquered yellow star at the bottom. The quote says “One sees clearly only with the heart.” The typical Le Petit Prince is made of burgundy “Special Resin” and carries a 14K gold nib.

The standard Planet models are part of the Precious Resin collection and are cartridge-converters. The are set apart from the rest with a nib that features an engraving of the Petit Prince working in his garden.
The Classique Doue upgrades the pen to a metal cap that is covered in stars, similar to the one on the clip but etched and not laquered. It says “B612” on the cap, which is the name of the asteroid on which the Prince lives. This pen has a 14k nib and is a cartridge-converter.
The Solitaire Le Grand has a wood cap and body, both of which are covered in the stars. It has an 18K nib instead of a 14K one. The bi-color nib has an etching of the Prince’s rose on it. It is a piston-filler.
