The Tombow Object Pixie is an expanding metal pen that uses a D1 refill. It has an all-metal build and a lighthearted style to match its name.
The Object Pixie is very similar in its design and build quality to the Fisher Space Pen TLP, another short expanding pen. The Fisher uses the company’s pressurized ballpoint refill where the Tombow uses a standard D1 multi-pen refill.
The pen ships with a 0.5 mm ballpoint refill with black ink. It will accept almost any D1 refill, though works better with thicker European ones, like the Schmidt EasyFlow 6000, as opposed to thinner Japanese ones.
