The Moleskine Classic is, as the name suggests, the standard Moleskine. The Classic is a notebook with 240 pages. It is one of the most common and easy to find of all premium notebooks. It’s designed to be the perfect everyday notebook and journal.
The “Classic” is a bit confusing because it describes a collection of notebooks, not a specific notebook. It’s most commonly seen in the Black Classic Notebook, but there are 9 colors in total.
Moleskine Sizes
It’s sold in the following sizes:

The notebooks are sold in both hardcover and softcover (except for the medium, which is hardcover only). The Classic line is sold in lined, grid, dot grid, and blank pages.
That’s a huge range of notebooks (432 variations less the medium exclusions!) to be sold under a single family.
The cover of the Moleskine hardcover, it’s most famous style, is a faux leather that looks great and feels pleasant. It’s also tough enough to stand up for some time. The hardcovers are held shut with an elastic band that goes from the top of the back cover to the bottom of the back cover. This is one of the few features of the Moleskine Classic, with the other being a paper pocket on the inside of the rear cover. The final feature is a ribbon that is bound into the notebook that is used to keep your page.
Moleskine doesn’t talk much about their paper but we do know that it’s ivory (not white), 70 gsm, acid-free paper.
