The Postalco notebook A5 is a high-end, spiral-bound notebook with a pressed cotton cover and a lie-flat design. The notebook has been made since 2004 and has become quite a classic in the paper world.
This luxury notebook is known for its impressive cover, super-fine 1 mm grid print, and overall wonderful design. The notebooks, like all Postalco goods, are quite expensive but they are made with care out of top-notch materials.
Postalco notebook use a 1 mm “pin” grid print on them, which isn’t ideal for journals but it’s quite cool and is fine of general note taking, jotting, and scribbling. The company doesn’t discuss their paper specifications, but it’s quite heavy, with a weight somewhere between 100 and 120 gsm (at least that’s our guess).
The pressed cotton covers are surprisingly durable and somewhat water-resistant. They resemble a waxed canvas in their texture and toughness, giving the Postalco a real edge over most cardstock covered seen in notebooks in the price range. There is a metal spiral binding inside the cover that is protected by the cover as about 80% of the spiral is inside the notebook.
