While Lamy no longer sells a CP1 rollerball in the United States, the pen has been sold for some time and in a number of different versions.
Varieties of the CP1 rollerball that have been sold over the years include:

- CP1 white
- CP1 black
- CP1 PT – Fluted guilloche with platinum-plated finish. Special edition
The standard models used a black plastic grip, reminiscent of that used on the current CP1 fountain pen.
