The Frixion Ball Clicker is a erasable, retractable pen from Pilot. It comes in both a US and a Japanese version, with only aesthetic differences between the two.
The erasable quality of the ink is a result of a thermo-sensitive ink which is designed to disappear when the temperature of the surface its on get hot enough. For this reason this ink is not meant to be used in very hot conditions nor should it be used in areas with a lot of friction (despite the name).
The Frixion Ball Clicker is an excellent pen for students as it is a good writer and it erases very well. In fact it’s probably the best erasable pen sold in 2019.
