The Pilot Hi-Tec-C Slim is a mini version of the Hi-Tec-C pen in a retractable version. The standard Hi-Tec-C is not retractable (it’s capped) and it’s a full-sized pen, but this pen is small and have a click button on the top.
This pen has a metal clip, plastic body, and a small but comfortable rubber grip. It uses a non-standard refill size — the Pilot Pilot LHSRF-8C — and a 0.4 mm writing tip. The refill is small and it’s a great pick for replacing the refill in other pens that use short, non-standard refills. So if you are a pen refill hacker and like to customize your pens, this is a great pen to have around.
