The Pilot S20 is a Japanese executive pen. It’s the counterpart to the more popular S20 mechanical pencil, but it’s an excellent pen in its own right. The S20 has a contoured wood body and premium metal components. The design has a low center of gravity that aids in comfort and control.
The S20 is sometimes called the Escienti pen. Its retail price is 2000 JPY.
The S20 ballpoint sells is dark brown wood (BPPS-2SK-DBN) and deep red wood (BPPS-2SK-DR) colors.
The S20 uses Pilot’s Acro BFRN-10F refill, which is most often associated with the Dr. Grip pens. It’s an odd size that is short and wide, making it hard to replace with a more popular refill option. The upside of this is that it gives its owners the chance to the Pilot’s excellent BRFN-30M upgrade refill.
