The Platinum ixi:z, sometimes spelled Platinum [ixi:z] is a handsome, high-design pen that was done in collaboration with the Japanese designer ixi:z.
This pen is known for its brushed metal body, wire clip (similar to the Lamy Safari) with a ball at the end (like the Rotring 700).
The pen has a distinctive 1980s styling to it, that makes it a collector’s item despite the design being out of vogue.
On the pen it says “[ixi:z] Individually basic” which is a tag line of sorts.
