The Tombow Zoom 727 is a minimalist ballpoint pen that is very similar to the popular Zoom 707.
The Tombow Zoom 727 is a larger pen than the older 707 model and it also dropped the rubber grip in favor of a wider, metal barrel. The 727 is also a push-button retractable pen (a click pen) where the 707 look like a clicky pen but actually has a twist mechanism to extend the writing tip.
The Zoom 727 is a larger, heavier pen than the 707, but barely takes up more room in side of a journal or closed book because its widest point is the same width as the 707’s.
The Zoom 707 is sold as a pencil known as the Zoom 717, but the 727 doesn’t have a pencil version yet.
People who like this pen should also consider Lamy’s super slim Spirit pen and pencil.
