The Zebra G-301 (often seen as the “G301”) is an affordable gel pen from Zebra’s Steel Series of pens. The G line combines the smooth writing of a gel pen with the metal body and tough aesthetic of the Steel Series.
The “301” in the name means that this is the lower end of the Steel Series lineup. The F-701, for example, has a tougher build and all metal parts. The G-301 has a steel barrel and some metal hardware but still uses a number of plastic parts. Interestingly, despite the G-301 having been around for a number of years, there still is no G-701 pen!
