The Trik-Trak is a squeeze-style fountain pen converter that works with Aurora’s Hastil fountain pen. The converter consists of a rubber sac inside of a metal shell with a cut out for a button that can be pressed to expel air and pull in ink.
The Trik-Trak is designed to work with Aurora’s thinner fountain pens, namely the Hastil and Archivi Storici. These are pens that are difficult to find converters for thanks to their long, narrow bodies. These pens will work with certain Parker converters and all Parker long cartridges, as Aurora adopted Parker’s ink accessory design in the mid-1970s.
The Trik-Trak looks very similar, but isn’t compatible with a the Parker aerometric converters of yesteryear, as well as the Pilot Con-B converter.
