The JK is Zebra’s skinny gel refill. It is most commonly found in Zebra’s G-301 gel pen.
The JLV-0.5 is the dye-based gel ink refill sold in the Sarasa Dry pen. This is one of Zebra’s DRYJELL inks, which are dye-based and said to dry up to 85% faster than a traditional link. This makes the refill ideal for left-handed writes as it is highly smudge- and smear-resistant.
The Sarasa Dry is one of the best gel pens so this refill is, as you might suspect, quite good. The JLV combines very good color with fast drying and a smooth writing experience. It is not prone to blobbing and is very smear-resistant.

The Pilot LP3RF is the gel pen refill sold with the Pilot Juice Up gel pen.
This is Schmidt’s short, capless rollerball refill in 0.6 mm. Schmidt’s rollerball refills are excellent, but they are quite wide, which limits their application in pens not designed specifically for it, especially Japanese pens that use the thinner Pilot G2-style refill.

The Pilot BTRF-6F is a slim, plastic refill most commonly found in the Pilot Birdy pens.
This refill is the 0.5 mm (Extra Fine) version of the Pilot BVRF-8F, which is 0.7 mm.
The Pilot BVRF-8F, sometimes known as the RF-8 Fine, is a Pilot standard sized refill which is part of Pilot’s Acro line of hybrid inks. In some product descriptions this ink is called a ballpoint ink, but it’s actually a hybrid ink. (Hybrid inks are oil-based so some companies classified them as being ballpoint, but we at Unsharpen believe in making the distinction.)
The Pilot BVRF-8F is 0.7 mm where the Pilot BVRF-8EF is 0.5 mm.
This is the multi-pen refill used in Pilot’s popular Hi-Tec-C Coleto pen, it’s not the same refill that is used in the standard Pilot Hi-Tec-C.
