Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo

Pilot’s Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo is a deep teal fountain pen ink in the company’s Iroshizuku line of luxury inks.

Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo is one of the more practical colors in the family of 24 ink colors. All the inks are named after natural occurrences, with this one being named after moonlight.

Tsuki-yo is a smooth-writing ink with a nice flow, making it a good everyday ink. The color isn’t a common blue-black, but more of a blue-teal, which is not unlike a lighter blue-black but with shades of green. The color is reminiscent of Lamy’s Petrol ink.

Tsuki-yo is named after moonlight, it’s one of the more confusing names given moonlight might be more obviously associated with a light great or pale blue, but it’s still a very nice teal color.
