Pilot Iroshizuku Kiri-same is a grey ink in the Iroshizuku family of luxury inks.
This is a lighter grey ink with lots of shading, especially when applied heavily, but it’s apparent most of the time. Kiri-same is more of a pure grey, without the blue/purple undertones of Fuyo-syogun.
The ink is named “autumn shower” which is a great name given the light grey color, which darker shades coming through with almost no effect.
Pilot Iroshizuku Kiri-same is a nice writer with a good flow and the ability to be cleaned rather easily. It is acceptable for general writing, but it is bit on the light side and the shading does detract a bit from legibility.
