The Quo Vadis Habana is a fountain pen-friendly hardcover notebook with exceptionally smooth paper.
The Habana uses ivory paper and is sold in both blank and ruled pages. The ruled design uses a 5.5 mm dotted line. The notebook uses 85 gsm Clairefontaine paper.
The hardcover is covered in a faux leather (known as “leatherette”) which give it some grip and holds up well in the short term, but it’s the sort of material that does not generally age well.
The notebook has rounded corners, making for a backpack-friendly design as well as an elastic closure and place saving ribbon, similar to a Moleskine Classic. There is also an inner pocket at the back for notes.
The size of the Habana is a comfortable, but not large, 6.25″ x 9.25″ (160 mm x 240 mm). The Habana has a sewn binding and it made in the USA.
