The Moonman C1 is a Chinese fountain pen that is an eyedropper filler. It’s similar to the company’s M2 fountain pen.
Where the Moonman C1 has a cigar shape with pointed ends, the C1 has flat ends giving the pen a more modern look. The pen looks similar to the Newton Shinobi fountain pen, but it is smaller than that pen. The C1 generally isn’t dinged too badly for the similarity given that it’s a relatively simple shape. The Schon Design machined pen looks similar for example.
While the C1 is an eyedropper pen, it can also be used with a converter. This will greatly reduce the ink capacity but makes filling and cleaning the pen a simpler, quicker process.
The C1 has a flattened side in order to compensate for the lack of a clip and prevent rolling.
These pens use a #6 stainless steel nib, which is larger than that found on the M2.
