Platinum Little Shooting Star is a version of the Preppy that is only sold in China. In the Japanese market the same pen appears to be sold as the Little Meteor.
The nib, section, and feed of the pen appear to be identical to those of the Platinum Preppy — just like Platinum did with the Prefounte — with one exception. The exception is one of the most fun features of the pen: little stars on the nib.
The Little Shooting Star is very similar to the Pilot Kakuno: the two are about the same price, they are both clipless, and they both have faceted plastic bodies.
The pen isn’t available in the US, but can be found on AliExpress and Rakuten.
