Organics Studio Nitrogen is blue fountain pen ink with lots of sheen. The ink is park of Organics Studio’s Elements series of fountain pen inks.
Organics Studio describes Nitrogen as a royal blue, which is to say a bright, mid-tone blue, as opposed to having a darker, navy base. The ink looks light, but dried to be relatively dark. The sheen is a purple, making it seems darker than something like Diamine Majestic Blue, which has a pink sheen.
The ink is not a very well behaved ink, and while it dries slowly on paper and is prone to smearing, it has lots of hard starts. This is due to poor flow through the feed and drying on the nib, which means if you hold your pen to think for minute or two you will often find the nib feeling dry… even on a larger nib, like a Platinum Preppy medium.
