Pilot’s Momiji is a red-colored fountain pen ink in the Iroshizuku family of luxury inks.
Momiji is a vermillion, which is to say bright red or even scarlet, colored ink that was made to resemble the thing the ink was named after, Japan’s “Autumn Leaves.” Vermillion was original made from crushed cinnabar, giving it its distinctive red color.
Momiji is a reddish color that is less orange than Fuyu-gaki and less pink than Kosumosu.
