Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-ryoku is a deep green color in the company’s line of luxury inks. Like all the inks in the family it is named after something found in nature, particularly forest green in the case of Shin-ryoku.
Like all the inks in the Iroshizuku family, Shin-ryoku is a very good ink with great flow, smooth writing, and relatively easy cleaning. It’s a nice writer that looks great on the page, with green that feels very natural but is still easy to read.
Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-ryoku is deviates a bit from the rest of the family of 24 inks in that it is slower to dry and has more shading than is common.
Shin-ryoku is a true forest green, being less blue than Syo-ro or Ku-jaku, and a darker green than the limited edition Iroshizuku Fuku-roku-ju.
