Pilot Iroshizuku Red Tsutsuji, or azalea, is a deep pink color. It has a hints of black in its shading but remains definitively pink and light-hearted.
Pilot Iroshizuku’s is a high-value, luxury line of inks that is generally great for everyday use. Not all the colors are fitting for all situations, Tsutsuji included. This color is good for journaling and art projects, but not typically considered to be office-friendly. That noted, Iroshizuku Tsutsuji is quite legible on a variety of papers and is dark enough to be readable next to more standard blues and black tones.
Tsutsuji is darker than the line’s Kosumosu and is actually a closer match to Momiji, though that color is more reddish and less pink than Tsutsuji.
Pilot’s Iroshizuku family has a number of pink/red colors in it and this is one of the better ones for general use, like journaling. It will be on the dark side for people looking for a true pink, but it remains a nice ink and a useful one for marking up documents or taking notes in a red tone.
