Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo is a purple color in Pilot’s line of luxury fountain pen inks. Yama-budo is named after the crimson glory vine. It’s a deep magenta color.
Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo is a smooth flowing, easy-to-clean ink. It’s a nice writer overall, like all the inks in the family. It’s one of the slower drying inks in the line but had great natural-feeling purples that are easy to read and dark enough for general use, like note-taking and letter writing. Despite this, it’s a had hits of pink and is not a purple you’d expect to find in a professional setting, like Sheaffer’s Classic Purple.
