Robert Oster Summer Storm is purple-grey ink that is manufactured by hand in Australia.
The ink appears to be grey and at times blue but dries purple. The drying process can take some time as it’s not a fast drying ink and the full purple color doesn’t appear until the ink is completely dried. It has a high level of shading which is apparent when the ink is dry.
The dull purple ink is well behaved and relatively easy to clean. It has a medium flow and neither writes particularly dry or wet.
This is a good looking ink but not one we typically recommend as there are many nice purples on the market and the faded color isn’t ideal in all circumstances.
