Kokuyo Thin Paper is a wonderfully light paper that Kokuyo primarily uses in its planners.
This paper is sold in an ultra-light 52 gsm but it’s designed for fountain pens, gel pens, and rollerballs to not bleed through it, regardless of its lightweight. Because of its lightness, the paper does tend to lift with the spine of any notebook that uses it as well as to pickup many small crinkles in it.
This is the same paper that Kokuyo uses in its Jibun Tech Idea line of notebooks.
Significant show-through of ink does offer, but bleeding is not a problem. Dry times with this paper are on the long side, but not as long as with many other fountain pen-friendly papers.
This paper is is on the smooth side, but has some texture or “tooth” to it, so fine nibs will still feel some noticeable feedback.
