The Ohto Dude is an aluminum pen with a hexagonal body. It has a chunky, blocky design and a nice heft to it. The pen is most commonly seen as a fountain pen, but the rollerball is quite nice as well.
The pen is commonly sold with Ohto’s excellent ceramic rollerball refill, the C-305P. This is one of the smoothest rollerball refills sold today.
The Dude has a hexagon body made of polished, anodized aluminum. The grip appears to be made of a black rubber in pictures, but is actually made of some form of metal.
The Dude has a small, stiff, sharp clip that is one of its worst features. Another downsize of the pen is that the plastic cup inside the cap — which is what keeps the writing tip from drying out — often gets in the way when you are putting the cap in place.
