The Parker Esprit is a pocket-sized fountain pen with a telescoping barrel. It’s the nearly the same pen as the Rotring Esprit, which is also made by Newell Brands. This pen was first made in 2008.
The fountain pen version of the Parker Esprit was sold with a stainless steel nib in Fine and Medium tips. Because of the telescopic action only short international standard cartridges fit in the pen. Short converters will work as well.
The Esprit, like the Rotring Esprit, has a short, hard nib with no flex and essentially no line variation.
The pen is telescopic, with the grip that goes in and out when you pull the cap. The cap is attached to the pen more tightly than the grip slides in and out of the body. So when the cap is pulled, the body expands (with the grip section coming out of the body), and then the cap will come off.
