The Pilot Axiom is a cool-looking, well-made retractable ballpoint pen.
The pen is sold in matte black, blue, red, grey, and pearl white. The body is fully made of metal, including the button the top. The components of the pen resemble that of the Pilot G2 gel pen, but the build quality is like a nicer version of the G2 Limited Edition.
The main downside of the Axiom is that is uses Pilot’s short, proprietary BFRN series of refills. These are good performers, but they are an odd shape, so you are really restricted to this range of refills. This is the same issue with the Pilot S20 ballpoint.
