The Pokka Classic is a pocketable mini pen that is designed to be highly portable. The design is similar to a plastic version of the Fisher Space Pen Bullet.
The Pokka Classic is the standard level Pokka Pen. It has an ABS plastic body and a refillable ballpoint refill. The pen seems to use a short version of a standard B3 refill, similar to that used by the Bic Cristal.
The Pokka Pen is sold in a few variants. In addition to the Classic, there are two aluminum-clad versions in silver and black finish, which are part of the premium line and sell for about $14 each.
There is also an all-weather version, which uses a Fisher Space Pen pressurized refill and can write upside down, underwater, and it other tough conditions. The All-Weather version is made in collaboration with Rite In The Rain and is not refillable, it sells for about $7 per pen instead of 3 for $9.
The standard Pokka uses an old school ballpoint ink, with a thick, dragging feel to it. It produces a light black color that is expected for a budget, writes-on-anything ballpoint, especially those of the past. The Rite In The Rain version has a much darker black color and is a smoother writer, thanks to the use of a high quality Fisher Space Pen refill.
The Rite In The Rain version appears to use a version of the Fisher Space Pen U series refill.
