The Rotring 600 3 in 1 is a new model in the 600 family, modeled after the original Rotring 600 Trio and Rotring Newton Trio. The 600 3 in 1 combines two pen colors and a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil.
At its release in April 2020 the pen is only being sold in Japan, with a retail price of 5000 JPY.
The Rotring 600 3 in 1 is sold with a black pen, red pen, and 0.5 mm pencil. This would technically make it a 2+1 multi-pen in the commonly accepted terminology, but Rotring has instead opted to call it a “3 in 1.” Notably lacking is a blue pen, though it’s easy to swap the pen colors for other D1-sized pen refills.

The most popular hexagonal-body Rotring Trio was part of the Newton series, which is related to but slightly different from the 600 series.
