The Super5 rollerball pen is a cartridge rollerball pen with a plastic body that is very similar to Super5’s more popular fountain pen.
The official name of the pen seems to be the “Super5 iR .7” as per the packaging, but this name isn’t used anywhere on retailer pages. The “iR” stands for “Ink Rollerball” which indicates that the pen uses fountain pen ink and cartridges.
The Super5 is a rollerball that uses fountain pen ink, which explains why the design is so similar to the fountain pen model.
The rollerball has a 0.7 mm tip size, has a metal clip, a fully plastic body, and is made in Germany. It uses standard international fountain pen cartridges.
The top of the pen unscrews in order to allow the user to get at a second international short cartridge. The pen can accomodate long international cartridges as well.
