The Quinkflow is Parker’s ballpoint pen refill. It’s a Parker-style G2 size with an hybrid ballpoint ink.
The Quinkflow (sometimes written as “QUINKflow”) is the ballpoint hybrd ink that has been sold with the Parker Jotter pen since the ink was released in the 2010, when it was released. Parker’s Quink inks have been around much longer than that (since 1930), but the QuinkFlow’s fast-drying hybrid formulation launched in 2010.
The refill is sold in black, blue, and red and in medium and fine points. It’s an all-metal refill, aside from the plastic cap which is designed to turn the refill with each click in order for it to wear evenly.
This is a long-lasting oil-base refill. Parker refers to it as a ballpoint, but does note that it actually uses an advanced, hybrid formula to promote quick-drying.
The named “Quink” is a portmanteau of “quick” and “ink” because, at the time, the ink was known as being quick-drying.
