What’s The Deal With Arteza Pens?

Unsharpen may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site.

If you have been buying pens online, at Amazon in particular, then you’ve probably spotted Arteza’s affordable pens. What’s the deal with this popular, but lesser known company?

Arteza Basic Information

Arteza is a popular maker of pens, brushes, and other art supplies, based in North Miami Beach, Florida, in the United States. The company also has an office in Minsk, Belarus.

The company doesn’t talk much about its history on their site, but Arteza is said to have been founded in 2015 by Mike Koshatko and Jurgis Plikaitis. The company raised $24 million in venture capital funding from Volition Capital in 2019 in order to grow their online sales business and expand their lineup. As of 2019 the company had over 200 employees.

Arteza’s official website is https://arteza.com.

Arteza Product Line

In 2016 Arteza started selling pencils and then a set of 60-gel pens, which is still sold. Their product line has expanded greatly since then.

    • Liquid chalk markers
    • Pigmented art markers

And that’s just a small sampling of what Arteza sells. This company has gone from selling just pens, to offering a huge line-up across multiple just product types.

Where Can I Buy Arteza Pens?

Arteza sells their pens through Amazon.com and through their website. Additional Arteza sells through Walmart, and their products can be found on Ebay.

What Makes Arteza Products Different?

Arteza is a new brand, but they have largely started to different themselves on their huge selection and high level of value. We haven’t used enough of their products to speak broadly about their quality level, but Arteza’s pens are generally in the “good” to “good enough” levels, which is enough to make most buyers happy, especially when the products are so reasonably priced and not aimed at professional users or the most demanding of enthusiast.

Other What’s The Deal Articles

Unsharpen.com has no relationship with Arteza and has purchased all our own Arteza products online, as any other buyer would. We do make some money if a product is purchased through Amazon.com links.
