The Kaweco Sport Gel Roller Pen is the capped rollerball version from the popular Sport line of pens and pencils.
The Sport Gel Roller is sometimes referred to as the rollerball version of the Kaweco Sport line, but it’s not technically a rollerball pen. It uses a Parker-style G2 refill so it can use a ballpoint, gel, or hybrid refills. Curiously, Kaweco calls their G2 sized gel refill their “Ceramic Rollerball Refill” so there is lots of confusion here.
The pen is quite small when capped but when the cap is posted on the back it’s basically a full-sized pen with a nicely contoured grip. The pen is largely plastic (except for a fancy metal finial) but it is nicely made and the plastic feels to be high quality.
The Kaweco Sport rollerball and fountain pen are basically the same pen, with interchangeable parts and different writing tips.
