The Sailor Fountain Pen Converter is commonly sold in gold and silver finishes. Sailor does sell many other colors but they aren’t commonly available in the US.
This converter is a piston-style that can be screwed to move the interior plunger up or down. It sits firmly in all Sailor pens and is quite well built. Despite good looks and solid quality, the 0.5 ml capacity is rather small which pushes Sailor fans who do a lot of writing to the Realo series of piston-fillers.
The Sailor converter is interchangeable with Sailor’s cartridges.
