Itoya Topdrawer

Itoya Topdrawer carries stationery, but it also sells household items, backpacks, slippers, and similar items. It’s a big like a Muji store, with the bonus of having a nice online store where Muji is aimed at in-person shopping. There tends to be a good selection of Japanese stationery, but the store isn’t limited to just Japanese brands, with Kaweco and others prominent in their displays and online shop.

Their paper selection is good as well, of course including Itoya’s excellent notebooks.

Lamy Flagship Store

Similar to their excellent shop in NYC’s Soho neighborhood, Lamy has a store in San Francisco. Conveniently located on Market Street right the middle of the action this store is easy to visit if you are in downtown San Francisco or visiting popular destinations like the Ferry Building or the Moscone Center.

Expect to find a huge selection of Lamy products, with just about every one of their current items available. It’s also a great way to test out Lamy products in a casual setting with an expert helping you out. You can also refill on ink, cartridges, and Lamy notebooks.
