The Energel Philography — sold as the Energel Style in the US — is a metal-bodied executive pen with a twist retractable action. It’s a premium quality pen that is the most high-end pen in the Energel series (moreso than the Energel Alloy). The Philography generally sells for under $20, making it a good deal cheaper than its direct competition.
The Pental Smash B1000 ballpoint, is the pen counterpart to the much more popular Pentel Smash mechanical pencil. The pen is quite hard to find and often is sold for over $40, despite having a retail price of just 1000 JPY.
The Energize is the mechanical pencil equivalent of the popular Pentel Energel Deluxe RTX gel pen. It’s a comfortable, affordable pencil that’s a nice fit against the excellent Energel RTX series.
