The Beiluner Luxury Wood is a a popular ballpoint pen writing set that is commonly sold on Amazon.com.
The Beiluner set is sold in bamboo, maple, rosewood, and maple models, all of which sell for about $10. The pen uses a standard rollerball size refill, just like you’d find in a European standard pen (like the Pelikan 338).
The pen is said be made out of “eco-friendly renewable 100% natural wood” but it’s not clear if it’s made out of the wood that are named in the pens’ descriptions. Given the price of the pen it’s most likely that the pen is made out of some kind of wood, but then stained to be colored like rosewood, walnut, or maple. The bamboo model does appear to be made of bamboo (despite bamboo being a grass, not a wood!).
