Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen

The Pilot Vanishing Point is the most famous of a very rare breed: a retractable fountain pen. The pen has been around since 1963, so it has a long and rich history, as well as a proven track record. The Vanishing Point (VP) uses a push-button design to extend and retract the nib, unlike some other retractable fountain pens that use a twist action.

The pen has amassed a dedicated following because of its convenience and versatility.

Pilot Juice Up Gel Pen

The Pilot Juice Up is a retractable gel pen from Pilot that features a unique writing tip and clip design. It is an improved version of the Pilot Juice Gel pen.

The Juice Up is available in a variety of ink colors and three tip sizes. 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, and 0.5 mm. The most colors are available in the 0.4 mm size. These include standard colors and pastels. You can get a 5-pack of one ink color for about $12 or a 10-color set for about $20-$25.

The Juice Up is one of Unsharpen’s best gel pens.

Few people would argue that one of the main draws to fountain pens is the amazing variety of inks on offer. This selection can quickly go from an allure to a curse when the paradox of choice sets in and you are presented with literally hundreds of shades of blue, all of which are relatively affordable and easy to access.
